- Get familiar with the starting sequence
- Kittery Adult Education Sailing courses during the winter
- NorthU sailing courses and books
- KPYC and UNH Sailing Centre have in water sailing school
- Go to the season kick off in May, bring a sailing resume, if you any sailing experience
- Hang out on race night to see if you can fill in for missing crew
- Get your name on the website for crew by sending your bio to the Webmaster or Commodore
- Smooze at the socials to get yourself known
- Have patience, you may not get on a boat right away
